Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actor who is employed on TV and in films is well known for movies such as Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was 16, she had already secured a number of TV roles for instance, the lead in Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. The role she played as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historic war film) was both critically and commercially acclaimed. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are two other Oscar nominated films that feature the divas. Alexandra is well-known for her participation in a variety of notable projects, both in the United States as well as internationally. This includes the British biographical feature Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon, amongst others. Additionally, she was a member of both The Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
