Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13th in 1981) is an American actor from the United States. In 2000, he started his acting career by playing on TV shows such as Opposite sex. In 2005, following his appearances as a character in Not Another Teen Movie and Fantastic Four (and its sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer 2007), he was recognized for his role as Marvel Comics hero The Human Torch. Evans made further appearances in the film adaptations of comics as well as graphic novels, including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). Alongside his character as Captain America/Steve Rogers Evans earned him recognition for the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2015) as well as Captain America: Civil War. In the Marvel universe, the character as Steve Rogers/Captain America helped him become the world's highest paid actor.
